Maintenance Technician

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial, residential, or industrial maintenance experience preferred

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout office buildings and facilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, doors, windows, locks, flooring, drywall, and building systems
  • Complete carpentry, painting, patching, and general maintenance projects
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Assemble, install, and relocate office furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Maintain exterior areas including walkways, parking areas, and landscaping support
  • Ensure facilities remain clean, organized, safe, and compliant with company standards

Road Construction Foreman

Position Summary: San Bar Construction Corp. is seeking an experienced Road Construction Foreman to supervise and coordinate highway construction crews. This position leads, trains, and delegates work to crew members while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the highway construction industry
  • 2–4 years of professional experience as a lead, foreman, or supervisor
  • Experience with guardrail installation, sign installation, and highway striping preferred, but not required; on-the-job training is provided
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of the construction industry
  • Ability to perform heavy physical activity and lift heavy objects
  • Ability to operate hydraulically operated jackhammers and other heavy equipment used in the industry
  • Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Diesel Technician / Mechanic

Position Summary: San Bar Construction Corporation is currently recruiting to fill the position of Diesel Technician / Mechanic. The primary duties include diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of primarily diesel-powered vehicles, equipment, light-duty trucks, and heavy-duty trucks. San Bar Construction repairs, rebuilds, and manufactures specialized equipment for highway striping, guardrail, rumble strip, and ultra-high-pressure water blasting in a large climate-controlled mechanic shop.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years automotive/diesel mechanic experience
  • Valid driver license required; CDL license is a plus but not required
  • Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet all company, government, and equipment-related safety requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and co-workers
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Capable of climbing, kneeling, twisting, and bending as required to complete necessary repairs

  • Perform inspections, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of highway safety construction vehicles and equipment
  • Analyze diagnostic test results

  • Occasionally lift or move objects weighing more than 100 lbs. using provided equipment
